The Lord is compassionate, slow to anger,  
Abounding in love, He’s our strong tower.  
His mercy flows like a boundless river,  
Reaching the weak, the lost, the sinner.

Oh, praise His name, so merciful and gracious!  
Full of compassion, His love is endless.  
Though we may stumble, He lifts us higher,  
For His heart burns with holy fire!

He does not treat us as we deserve,  
His kindness calls us, His grace preserves.  
Higher than heavens, His love remains,  
Breaking our chains, erasing our stains.
