In the Morning Lord

Title: In the Morning, Lord
(Based on Psalm 5:3 — “In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly.”)

Verse 1:
When the night has faded, and the dawn appears,
I lift up my voice, Lord, knowing You will hear.
With my heart wide open, I come to seek Your face,
I lay down my burdens, in Your holy place.

Chorus:
In the morning, Lord, You hear my prayer,
In the morning light, I know You’re there.
I will wait on You, with hope inside my soul,
In the morning, Lord, You make me whole.

Verse 2:
Through the stillness, mercy comes like rain,
Your presence surrounds me, Your love remains.
I will trust Your timing, I will trust Your ways,
For You are my refuge all my days.

Chorus:
In the morning, Lord, You hear my prayer,
In the morning light, I know You’re there.
I will wait on You, with hope inside my soul,
In the morning, Lord, You make me whole.

Bridge:
Though the night may bring me tears,
Your joy will rise when the sun appears.
Every step, I’ll follow You,
Your promises are always true.

Final Chorus (softer, then building):
In the morning, Lord, You hear my prayer,
In the morning light, I know You’re there.
I will wait on You, with hope inside my soul,
In the morning, Lord, You make me whole.

Ending:
In the morning… Lord, You hear… my voice.
