Not To Condemn
**Title: Not to Condemn**
Based on **John 3:17**
**(Verse 1)**
The world lay heavy, lost in the night
Shadows of judgment, blocking the light
We felt the weight, the broken decree
A sentence hanging over you and me.
**(Chorus)**
But God sent His Son, not to condemn!
His purpose was rescue, again and again!
Not for destruction, not for the blame
But bearing salvation, in Jesus' name!
Oh, hear the heartbeat, the Father's own cry:
"Come unto Me, lost one, don't pass Me by!"
**(Verse 2)**
He saw our struggle, the choices we made
The price that was owed, the debt fully paid
No finger pointing from Heaven above
Just arms wide open, filled with pure love.
He stepped into darkness, the Light of the world
Hope's banner unfurled, in grace it was twirled.
**(Chorus)**
Yes, God sent His Son, not to condemn!
His purpose was rescue, again and again!
Not for destruction, not for the blame
But bringing salvation, in Jesus' name!
Oh, feel the compassion, the Father's deep sigh:
"Come unto Me, weary soul, lift your head high!"
**(Bridge)**
The verdict was guilty, the sentence was death
But Love drew a breath, defied it with grace
The Judge became Savior, took our place on the tree
Not condemnation, but "Come, be set free!"
Oh, the mercy! The plan! The unfathomable cost!
To seek and to save every soul that was lost!
**(Chorus)**
Praise God, He sent His Son, not to condemn!
His mission was rescue, for women and men!
Not for rejection, but to reclaim
Bringing redemption, in Jesus' name!
Oh, shout the good tidings, let Heaven reply:
"God's heart is salvation! Reach out and draw nigh!"
**(Outro)**
Not to condemn... no, never to condemn...
But to save... to save...
Through Jesus... through Him...
(Whispered/Fade) His name... Salvation... Amen.
