(Inspired by Romans 8:3–4)

Verse 1:
The law was weak, but You were strong,
You sent Your Son to right our wrong.
He came in flesh, yet free from sin,
And broke the chains that bound within.

Chorus:
Now I walk in Spirit’s light,
Not in shadows, not in fright.
Jesus, You have set me free,
Your righteousness now lives in me.

Verse 2:
You condemned sin on the tree,
So the law’s just claim could live in me.
Not by power, not by might,
But by Your Spirit, day and night.

Bridge:
No more guilt, no more shame,
I’m covered by the Savior’s name.
The old is gone, the new has come,
Through the victory of Your Son.
